Enough of the old
April 7, 2010
So an election has been announced! Well, whoopee, doopee, do. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am ready to rent my garments, and go around in ashes and sackcloth. There are NO real choices!
In the red corner, we have Gordon Brown, a heavyweight English bulldog, who staid, steady and steadily out of touch. In the blue corner we have David Cameron, a man who seems like a Jack Russell in comparison – a bit of a yapper whose bark seems to convey nothing of substance. Finally, the Liberal Democrats who have exactly what to say exactly?
We desperately need someone new, someone with big new ideas ready to unite the country against apathy. This could be the biggest election voted by the fewest people which is just absurd! We need an English Barack Obama; someone to lead, unite and bring together the disparate elements of this country. Someone whose view is to unify, rather than to divide.
But who?
